Privacy Policy

Data collected

We collect only what we need, and only in three situations:

• Contact form: first name, last name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message, which you provide voluntarily.
• Site visits: truncated IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referrer, through our audience measurement tool, only if you have consented to it.
• Cookies: according to the preferences you save in the banner provided for that purpose.

We collect no sensitive information within the meaning of the Act, and we neither buy nor receive third-party lists.

Data usage

Each piece of information serves one precise purpose, and no other:

• Answering your request and, where applicable, preparing a proposal.
• Reaching you about that request, by email or by telephone.
• Measuring site traffic in aggregate, in order to improve its content.
• Detecting and blocking automated spam submissions.

Your information is never sold, rented or traded, and is used for no advertising whatsoever.

Your rights

You may exercise the following rights by writing to the privacy officer. We answer within thirty days:

• Access the information we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected.
• Withdraw your consent to ongoing processing.
• Require that information cease to be disseminated, or that a link giving access to it be de-indexed.
• Receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format, or have it transmitted to a third party.
• Request the deletion of information whose collection was not justified.

Consent and withdrawal

Your consent is requested separately, for specific purposes, and is never presumed. You may withdraw it at any time, without having to justify yourself, by writing to the privacy officer. Withdrawal has no retroactive effect on processing already carried out, but ends any further processing.

Retention and destruction

We keep your information only as long as the purposes described above require. At the end of those periods it is securely destroyed.

Processors and disclosure outside Québec

To run this site we entrust certain processing to suppliers. Each accesses only the information its task requires and may not use it for its own purposes. Several of them process or host data outside Québec, chiefly in the United States.

Before entrusting personal information outside Québec, we carry out a privacy impact assessment, as the Act requires.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The site sets cookies that are strictly necessary to its operation, which cannot be disabled, and audience measurement cookies, which are set only if you accept them. We use no advertising cookies and carry out no profiling.

You may change or withdraw your choice at any time from the “Manage cookies” link at the foot of every page.

Confidentiality incidents

We keep a register of confidentiality incidents. Should an incident presenting a risk of serious injury occur, we would inform the persons concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information without delay.

Filing a complaint

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
